Karena sumber manapun mungkin tidak lengkap atau hanya sebagian, disarankan untuk menggunakan pendekatan segitiga. Banyak sumber informasi yang berbeda harus dicari. Informasi dapat diperoleh dari sumber-sumber fokus: 1. Contoh penulisan siswa 2. Tes data tentang kinerja siswa 3. Pendapat para pakar
